Position Sizing
Risk Amount = Account Size × Risk Percent
Stop Distance (points) = Based on support level
Contracts = Risk Amount ÷ (Stop Distance × Point Value)
Example (ES):
- Account: $50,000
- Risk: 1% = $500
- Stop: 8 points below entry
- Point value: $50
- Risk per contract: 8 × $50 = $400
- Contracts: $500 ÷ $400 = 1 ES contract
